The volume of mutual trade between Kazakhstan and the states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in January 2019 amounted to $1,350.3 billion, Trend reports with reference to the Committee on Statistics of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan.
This amount is 0.9 percent more than in the corresponding month of 2018.
In particular, in the reporting period, the volume of Kazakhstan's exports to the EAEU countries in monetary terms amounted to $409 million (which is 12.1 percent less than in January last year) and the volume of imports was $941.3 million ( increase in 7.9 percent).
In the total volume of the foreign trade turnover of Kazakhstan with the countries of the EAEU, 92.5 percent accounted for Russia, 4.4 percent for Kyrgyzstan, 3 percent for Belarus, and 0.1 percent for Armenia.
