Kazakhstan to implement projects worth nearly $3B

Some 120 projects worth 1.1 trillion tenge ($2.861 billion) are to be implemented in Kazakhstan in 2019, Trend reports referring to the press office of Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development of Kazakhstan.

“During period of March-May 2019 four project worth up to one billion tenge were put into operation, which created 100 new work places for locals,” the report said.

Furthermore, the realization of four more projects worth 6.9 billion tenge was already launched.

“The main reason for the economic growth this year is the program of preferential credit to industries of “economy of simple things”,” Roman Sklyar, the Minister of Industry and Infrastructural Development of Kazakhstan said.

Thus, some 400 billion tenge out of total 600 billion tenge directed at the program’s development are aimed at processing industry. This will allow to launch manufacturing of 450 industrial products.

“The preferential funding of business will allow to create 16,000 permanent work places, to increase tax payment up to 1.1 trillion tenge, to decrease the import percentage of “economy of simple things” products from 59 percent to 37 percent,” the statement said.

Currently Roadmaps on development of light, furniture industries and of construction supplies manufacturing for the period of 2019-2021 are implemented.

All of the measures mentioned above will allow for the increase of industrial growth on the level of no less than 102.7 percent.
