In January-May 2019, incomes of Azerbaijani population amounted to 22.164 billion manats, which is 6.8 percent more compared to the same period last year, Trend reports referring to State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.
Per capita income amounted to 2,244.0 manats, which is 5.9 percent more compared to the same period of 2018.
After all payments were made, 20.386 billion manats remained at the disposal of the population (7 percent more compared to January-May 2018) or 2,064.0 manats per capita (6.1 percent increase).
In January-April 2019, the average salary in the country was 581.2 manats, which is 7.9 percent more compared to the same period last year.
In the oil sector, the average salary was 3,183.8 manats, in the non-oil sector - 521.8 manats. In the public and private sectors, the average salary was 467.2 and 730.9 manats, respectively.
