Azerbaijan’s Gazakh Cement Plant plans to significantly increase its production volume in the near future, a source at the plant told Trend.
The annual production volume at the plant is 1 million tons, according to the source.
“By the end of this year, we plan to focus on increasing cement production to bring this figure to 1.2 million tons,” the source noted. “Next year it is planned to increase production to 1.5 million tons.”
Cement production this year increased by 25 percent compared to last year, due to the installation of new types of modern equipment, which contributed to an increase in the production capacity of the plant, according to the source.
The Gazakh Cement Plant is one of major manufacturers of building materials in Azerbaijan, and in addition to cement, the plant produces concrete and clinker.
