The metal smelting plant, which is a resident of Azerbaijan's Sumgayit Technologies Park (STP), will be re-commissioned in the near future, a source at the plant told Trend.
According to the source, the enterprise was temporarily suspended in order to conduct production optimization.
"Currently, most of the work in this direction has been completed. The plant will resume its work in the coming months," the source said.
The plant produces high quality fittings used in the construction sector.
"Over the next two months, the plant will install new types of equipment provided for the production of better fittings," the source added.
Currently, the plant produces fittings.
All manufactured products are tested in a laboratory that uses modern equipment, and their compliance with the standard is also checked.
The Sumgayit Technologies Park, commissioned in December 2009, is a complex of large plants specializing in various fields of production and fully meets the demand in the domestic market and has a high export potential.
Currently, STP residents are 12 plants and more than 30 production sites equipped with the latest technological equipment of European and Japanese production, which employs 2,000 people.
