The foreign trade turnover of Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic amounted to $450.8 million from January through November 2020, Trend reports citing the report of Nakhchivan’s State Statistical Committee.
According to the data, the volume of foreign trade turnover of Nakhchivan for the reporting is 3 percent more compared to the same period of 2019.
In the structure of foreign trade turnover, Nakhchivan’s exports accounted for $387.5 million, having grown by $0.8 million over the year, said the report.
As reported, the share of exports made up 85.9 percent of the volume of foreign trade turnover.
Meanwhile, imports to Nakhchivan over the past 11 months of 2020 amounted to nearly $63.3 million, having increased by 19.2 percent year on year.
The share of imports in the total trade turnover increased to 14.1 percent of the total imports, and the foreign trade balance remained positive, totaling $324.2 million.
In the first 11 months of 2019, the volume of foreign trade operations of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic amounted to $437.5 million.
