The Azexport portal implemented export orders worth $194.3 million from January through May 2021, Trend reports citing the Export Review of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) of Azerbaijan.
In May 2021, the Azerbaijani Azexport portal implemented export orders worth $30.1 million, the CAERC said.
For 53 months of its activity, the Azexport portal has fulfilled orders for the supply of products from Azerbaijan to 145 countries of the world in the amount of $2.39 billion.
In May 2021, the top 10 exported goods of the Azexport portal were as follows: cotton, chicken, tobacco, peas, building materials, chicken eggs, tea, wine, pomegranate juice and vegetable oil.
Azexport website (www.azexport.az) was created upon the order of the president ‘On the creation of a unified database of goods produced in Azerbaijan’ dated September 21, 2016.
The website is operating under the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication. Its goal is to provide information on the goods of Azerbaijani origin.
This website is an effective platform for the sale of these goods in foreign and domestic markets.
