The volume of freight traffic in Nakhchevan Autonomous Republic (NAR) in 2005 increased by 13,6 %, the growth of passenger traffic during this period was 7,6% as compared to 2004, the NAR permanent representation in Baku told Trend.
The NAR transport enterprises carried during this period 7041,2 thousand of goods and 41401,2 thousand of passengers.
The revenues in the amount of totally 22892,7 thousand AZN were received, which is 12,7% more of the last year similar period.
Totally in 2005 РіРѕРґСѓ the growth of the freight traffic volume in Azerbaijan was 9,2%, the freight turnover by 13,5%, the passenger traffic by 4,8% as compared to 2004.
