Volume of transportation through Tumen department of Sverdlovski railway has increased due to opening of new routes

The volume of the transportation of Tumen department of the Sverdlovski railway has increased in January-June 2006 due to the opening of new routes from Tumen to Baku and Saint-Petersburg, the press-service of Tumen department of the Sverdlovski railway stated, Trend reports.

The volume of the passenger transportation has reached 2.8 million people which is more by 500 as comprised with the same period of last year.

The growth is also justified through connecting additional trains to the demanded directions: Nijnevartovsk Moscow, from Tumen and Noviy Urengoy to Anapa. In the summer, the number of the passengers increases as comprised to other seasons. During the leaves, the coaches are connected the maximal number of train and 8 ticket offices function in stations.
