The one-year project financed by the European Commission and implemented by UNDP has been launched in January 2006. The aim of the project with the total cost of в'¬900.000 is to render assistance to the State Customs Committee in improving the legislative base in the field of customs, in order to bring it to the World standards, particularly to the standards of the EU Customs Code, as well as improve and implement the strategy on the development of information technologies in the State Customs Committee.
