The Economic Development Minister of Azerbaijan, Heydar Babayev, briefed the media that the Government of Azerbaijan does not intend increasing the amount of the finance from the state budget for the development of the entrepreneurship in the regions for the next year.
We had concerns that increase of the finances may adversely affect the financial system of the country, and therefore, we decided that the amount of the finances next year will be same with 2006 - AZN 80 mln, 6 mln out of which is allocated for Nakchivan Autonomous Republic, Babayev said.
Babayev did not exclude the possibility of reconsidering this question after getting acquired with the macro-economical indicators. Then, the Ministry can initiate increasing the amount of the finances, he added.
