Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. I.Khalilova / The State Consumer Market Control Service of the Ministry of Economic Development of Azerbaijan held monitoring in cement retail centers in Baku and Apsheron. The monitoring was aimed at protecting the market from the counterfeit cement sale, non-quality cement products and other breaks of the legislation. As a result, facts of counterfeit cement sale were discovered. 500 counterfeit bags of Garadagh, Special and Optimal cement, as well as 480 bags without document were discovered in 7 trade centers. The products were taken out from the market. The Ministry intends to continue monitoring to prevent illegal cement production and sale. In addition, the Ministry calls on consumers to be attentive.
