Trend I.Khalilova / The Chairman of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, Aydin Aliyev, said that the Government of Azerbaijan undertook liability to provide material support to the cars involved in the transportation of cargos to the Nakchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan. The necessity to make such a decision appeared due the agreement reached on 10 March 2007 between the Governments of Azerbaijan and Iran on taxes for use of the roads.
"As cargos are delivered to NAR mainly via the territory of Iran, the Government of Azerbaijan decided to guarantee them through material support to transporters," Aliyev said.
