Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / A new well was put into operation in the shallow side of Azerbaijani Gunashli field. It was drilled from Gunashli-13 platform, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), which develops that side of the field, reported.
The well which is 2,930 metres deep daily produces 100,000 tons of oil and 42,000 cu m of gas.
Gunashli-13 was put into exploitation 3 years ago. Six wells were drilled from the platform - two gas wells each with a daily debit of 1.1mln cu m of gas and 160 tons of condensate and 4 oil wells producing 372 tons of oil a day. Fourteen more wells are planned to be drilled from the platform.
