Azerbaijan, Baku, 13 June / Trend / Chiyoda Corporation, the Japanese construction and engineering company, expressed its willingness to participate in the establishment of petrochemical complex in Azerbaijan, the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic (SOCAR) said on 13 June. The SOCAR plans to examine this proposal.
Rovnaq Abdullayev, the president of the SOCAR, met with Omar al-Mannan, the chairman of the Almana Group Company (Qatar), and Takashi Kabaroy, the vice-president of Chiyoda Corporation on 12 June. These companies are interested in investment programs in the oil refinery and petrochemical in Azerbaijan.
Chiyoda Corporation, which has carried out engineering project work and work on design and construction in most of the world countries, is sure that the realization of oil production and petrochemical projects in Azerbaijan will play an important role in the economy of the country.
