Petrol prices: Euro-Super-95 in 27 EU countries (May 31-June 7)

The average price on Euro-Super 95 petrol hit 1,356 euro per 1,000 liters in 27 EU countries last week (May 31-June 7). The price is 9 euro more than the average for the previous week. Data on fuel prices are posted on the official Web site of the European Commission.

The highest price - 1,511 euro per 1,000 liters - was observed in the Netherlands. This figure increased by 16 euro per 1,000 liters.  The lowest price was 1,014 euro per 1,000 liters in Cyprus.

Greece took second place in the list of countries with the most expensive Euro-Super 95. The price hit 1,485 euro per 1,000 liters, which is8 euro less than a week earlier.

Denmark took third place for most expensive petrol. The price hit 1,469 euro per 1,000 liters, which is 14 euro more than a week earlier.

Belgium occupied the fourth place in the list of countries with the most expensive Euro-Super 95. The price hit 1,449 euro per 1,000 liters. The cost of Euro-super 95 increased by 38 euro in the country.

The average price on Euro-Super 95 petrol hit 1, 433 euro per 1,000 liters in the UK. The price increased by 37 euro per 1,000 from the previous week.

Finland occupied the sixth place in the list of countries with the most expensive Euro-Super 95. The price hit 1,430 euro per 1,000 liters. The cost of Euro-super 95 in the country increased by 4 euro.

Germany took the seventh  place in the list of countries with the most expensive Euro-Super 95. The price hit 1,420 euro per 1,000 liters or 5 euro more than the last week.

The average price on Euro-Super 95 petrol hit 1, 372 euro per 1,000 liters in Portugal and Italy. The price increased by 13 euro per 1,000 liters from the previous week in Italy and decreased by 2 euro per 1,000 liters in Portugal.

The price in Sweden hit 1,359 euro per 1,000 liters compared to 1,342 euro per 1,000 liters a week earlier.

France took the tenth place in the list of countries with the most expensive Euro-Super 95. The price hit 1,346 euro per 1,000 liters.
