Recently SOCAR will finalize the report on the results of two-dimensional geophysical studies conducted in onshore Zardabi, Shihbagi and eastern Shihbagi, SOCAR said. The report is prepared on the basis of processing and interpretation of data derived from 2D-studies.
"Protection of the report has been already made. The work with the documentation and registration is being held", the source said.
The main objective of the work is to specify the geological structure and prediction of oil and gas potential.
The customer is SOCAR's "Azneft" PU.
There are 59 oil and gas fields in Azerbaijan, of which 18 are offshore, others - onshore.
