Ecological Department of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) introduces new equipments meeting international standards, which are produced by advanced equipment manufacturers to study water, earth and air trials, the Department said Aug.2.
In particular, a gas chromatograph of a new generation 7890A GC System, equipped with NPD and PFPD detectors, produced by the Agilent Technologies Company, was purchased to improve the quality of works and improve logistics and to provide the Department's needs.
This equipment allows the analysis of nitrogen, phosphorus and sulfur compounds
It's possible to conduct accurate analysis of parameters affecting the environment, in particular sulfur compounds, and the provision of reliable forecasts aimed at resolving existing problems using this gas chromatograph with detector PFPD.
