SOCAR's Azerbaijani Gas Processing Plant repaired and reconstructed to improve environmental conditions and protection in January-June, SOCAR's Ecology Department said.
According to the report, during this period unserviceable pipe lines on some of the technical installations were replaced. Isolation was conducted. Unexploited reservoirs were dismantled.
Sources of pollution arising from the production are being liquidated, contaminated areas are cleaned and improved within the plan of actions.
The work on sorting of waste emerging during the production is periodically held. They are placed on specially designated areas (closed). The sorted waste is transferred to the SOCAR's ecology department center for utilization.
