Iran and Turkmenistan held intergovernmental negotiations today on joint projects in the energy and transport communications sectors.
An Iranian delegation led by head of the Water Resources Ministry's Engineering Technology Department Mohammad Haj Rasulihi visited Ashgabat.
The neighboring countries are connected by major regional projects, such as the Tejan-Sarakhs-Mashad Railway, the Korpeje-Kurt-Kui Pipeline and the Dostluk Reservoir, a Turkmen official told Trend.
The delegation held a series of meetings with the Turkmen energy and water resources ministries, and discussed prospects of cooperation.
