SOCAR put into operation two oil wells on the island Pirallahi, the company said.
According to the report, the depth of one well is 670 meters, the second - 700 meters. Daily debit of each of the wells is four tons of oil. Both wells were drilled upon SOCAR's oil and gas production department "Absheronneft".
There are 59 oil and gas fields in Azerbaijan. About 8 are offshore, others - onshore.
