The statistics on the reduction of oil production in Iran, published by unofficial sources, are wrong, Iran's representative to OPEC, Mohammad Ali Khatibi, said.
"Statistical data, provided by OPEC on oil production in Iran, are wrong," Ali Khatibi said.
Iran provides OPEC with confidential data on oil production monthly.
Earlier, Mahmoud Bahmani, head of the Central Bank of Iran, reported about the production of four million barrels of oil per day by Iran, of which two million barrels are exported.
