Romanian "daughter" of the Kazakh national company "KazMunayGas" - Rompetrol is discussing the issue of construction of the second petroleum storage depot on the west of Tbilisi, said the general director of Rompetrol Sadvakas Meraliyev.
"We have already one petroleum storage depot on the east of Tbilisi, but for gasoline stands we must pass oil products across the whole city. We allowed three months to "Rompetrol - Georgia" for the examination of this issue, after that we will begin the construction on the west of Tbilisi", - Meraliyev said.
According to him the existing petroleum storage depot is in an excellent condition.
Besides, he noted that the passage of clients through gasoline stands of "Rompetrol - Georgia" has increased four times this year.
"If they were selling two cubes per day before, today the quantity is eight and half cubes", - explained the head of company.
According to him, 67 gasoline stands under the logotype "Rompetrol - Georgia" are openly functioning in Georgia at the present time.
