In January-February, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) exported 231,200 tons of petroleum products from its own refineries compared to 231,200 tons in the same period of 2010.
In February SOCAR exported over 95,700 tons of petroleum products compared to about 136,200 tons in February 2010.
The country produces oil products at the Two Baku refineries with a total capacity of 20 million tons of oil per year. Both refineries belong to SOCAR, which annually processes approximately 7 million tons of oil from the Azerbaijani offshore and onshore fields.
