Liquefied natural gas production in Kazakhstan amounted to 197,200 tons in January, 2013 compared to 182,000 tons in January, 2012, the national dispatch center of the Kazakh Statistics Agency told Trend.
The production of LNG in the country in January, 2013 was 3.7 percent less compared to the previous month and 8.5 percent more compared to January, 2012.
In 2012 total production of LNG in Kazakhstan amounted to 2.208 million tons compared to 2.158 million tons in 2011.
LNG delivery to domestic market of Kazakhstan hit 56,200 tons in January, 2013, which is by 7.7 percent less than in the previous month and by 2.7 percent less than in December, 2012.
Kazakhstan's LNG exports made up 139,800 tons in January, 2013.
