General Director of Jizzakh Petroleum (a joint venture between Gazprom and Uzbekneftegaz) Shokir Fayzullayev held talks with representatives of Russian transportation company FESCO and French petrochemical company Axens, said a message from the Uzbek company
The foreign companies expressed interest in developing partnership within the framework of construction of the Jizzakh Oil Refinery.
The sides discussed significance and cost-effectiveness of this facility, which has been designed by leading international companies with use of advanced technologies in deep processing of hydrocarbon raw materials.
Jizzakh Oil Refinery will be flexible in terms of processing various types of hydrocarbon raw materials with high-level production of a wide range of petroleum products.
The oil refinery complex is designed to process 5 million tons of oil annually, producing high-quality petroleum products.
Jizzakh Petroleum and Honeywell UOP (former Universal Oil Products) earlier signed an agreement on the implementation of the project to build an oil refinery complex in the Jizzakh region.
