In January-May 2019, Azerbaijan exported 14.06 million tons of oil, which is 16.2 percent more compare to January-May 2018, Trend reports referring to the country's State Customs Committee (SCC).
In terms of value, the oil exports during the reported period amounted to $6.7 billion (an increase of 11.9 percent).
Also, during the reported period, Azerbaijan exported almost 436,200 tons of oil products for $220 million. Compared to the same period of the last year, these figures decreased by 15.8 percent and 17.8 percent, respectively. The share of oil products in the country's total exports is 2.55 percent.
In January-May 2019, total exports of Azerbaijan in monetary terms amounted to $8.6 billion, which is 14.4 percent more compared to January-May 2018.
