In November 2020, the import of aviation fuel to Georgia amounted to 3,600 tons, which is 800 tons or 18.2 percent less than in October (4,400 tons), Trend reports with reference to the Union of Importers of Oil Products of Georgia.
This figure is 5,600 tons or 60.9 percent less compared to the same period last year (9,200 tons).
From January through November of this year, the import of aviation fuel to Georgia amounted to 51,200 tons, which is 41,000 tons or 44.5 percent less than in the same period last year (92,200 tons).
In January through November, 78.7 percent (40,300 tons) of aviation fuel imports fell on Turkmenistan, 16.8 percent (8,600 tons) - on Turkey, 4.3 percent (2,200 tons) - on Romania, etc.
In October 2020, the import of aviation fuel to Georgia amounted to 4,400 tons, which is 2,300 tons or 109.5 percent less compared to the same period last year (2,100 tons).
In January through October 2020, imports of aviation fuel amounted to 47,500 tons, which is 35,500 tons or 42.8 percent less than the same period last year (83,000 tons).
