Iran's Investment Petrochemical Group to launch several facilities

Two facilities of the Iranian Investment Petrochemical Group (IIPG) will be launched next Iranian year (from March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023), Managing Director of the IIPG, Rasoul Ashrafzadeh said, Trend reports citing Shana News Agency.

He made the remark at an event dedicated to the signing of a contract on the establishment of a petrochemical park in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province on July 11.

The director noted that 9 facilities of the company are currently under construction. In total, these facilities will be able to produce 600,000 tons of products per year. And $800 million will be spent in this regard.

Ashrafzadeh added that 65 types of goods will be produced in the Brujen petrochemical park in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, most of which are currently imported.

Reportedly, a contract was signed on the establishment of Brujen petrochemical park in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province on July 11, 2021. The park will have six zones and will cost 30 trillion rials (about $714 million).

A total of 3,130 people will be employed in the park. A number of car spare parts, polyethylene pipes, profiles and more will be produced in this park.
