BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 27. Average daily equity production of Norway’s Equinor from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli in the second quarter of 2022 stood at 30.2 mboe/day, as compared to 32.8 mboe/day in the same period in 2021, Trend reports with reference to the company.

As such, Equinor’s equity production from ACG dropped by 7,9 percent year-on-year.

The company’s output from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli in Q1 2022 was 31.5 mboe/day, showing a 4.1 percent decrease quarter-on-quarter.

BP Exploration (Caspian Sea) Limited is the operator on behalf of the Contractor Parties to the ACG Production Sharing Agreement.

ACG participating interests are: bp (30.37 percent), SOCAR (25.0 percent), MOL (replaced Chevron as of 16 April 2020 (9.57 percent), INPEX (9.31 percent), Equinor (7.27 percent), ExxonMobil (6.79 percent), TPAO (5.73 percent), ITOCHU (3.65 percent), ONGC Videsh Limited (OVL) (2.31 percent).

Total Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) production for 2021 was on average about 458,000 barrels per day (b/d), as compared to 477,000 barrels per day in 2020.

ACG production for the first quarter of 2022 was on average about 434,000 barrels per day (b/d) (about 39 million barrels or 5 million tonnes in total) from the Chirag (25,000 b/d), Central Azeri (106,000 b/d), West Azeri (112,000 b/d), East Azeri (70,000 b/d), Deepwater Gunashli (79,000 b/d) and West Chirag (42,000 b/d) platforms.
