Value of gas produced at Shah Deniz field is as follows: for Azerbaijan - $58 per 1k m3, for Georgia - $63 per 1k m3, for Turkey - $120 per 1k m3, Trend reports quoting Vagif Aliyev, head of foreign investments, SOCAR.
Aliyev said no-one might forecast gas prices while concluding the contract. According to the contract itself, prices may no be modified within some certain period of time. Further, they may e subject to discussion. However, Shah Deniz project is expedient with these prices as well, he said.
At the moment purchase of additional gas by Georgia is talked of. This may become possible unless BotaЕџ is ready to receive gas supplied from Shah Deniz, Aliyev said. В"However, Azerbaijan has some different plans on this gas. We intend to purchase it ourselvesВ", - he added.
