In 2006 the AIOC transported about 321 million barrels (43 million tonnes or 535 tankerloads) of oil via the Western Route Export Pipeline for AIOC partners and the State of Azerbaijan (299 tanker loads - about 36 million tonnes for AIOC and 54 tanker loads - 7.2 million tonnes of Azerbaijans profit oil) from Supsa, treed reports citing the company.

since the beginning of transportation activities in 1997 to the end of June 2006 about 160 million barrels (246 tanker loads or approximately 22 million tonnes) of oil (including SOCAR non-ACG oil) had been transported via the Northern Route Export system.

David Woodward, the President of Р'Р  Azerbaijan, said that the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline will be used until achievement of full confidence in uninterrupted operation of the BTC.

The company is currently transporting an average of 120,000 bpd via the railway systems of Azerbaijan and Georgia. Since the beginning of railway transportation we have carried over 32.7 million barrels (approximately 4.4 million tonnes) of oil by rail, which allowed us to load 55 tankers from Batumi by the end of June.

In addition, since June 4, 2006 when the first tanker was loaded and sailed away from the Ceyhan Marine Terminal, over 6 million barrels (approximately 0.8 million tonnes or 9 tanker loads) of ACG oil transported via BTC has been lifted from the Ceyhan Terminal and oil is currently flowing at a rate of 400,000 barrels per day.
