The Holland company Fugro Survey carries out geophysical explorations on the gas condensate field Shakhdaniz by the order of BP Azerbaijan. The works are carried out by the vessel Svetlomor belong to SOCAR (State Oil Company). These works are carried out in
the south-eastern sector of the field to be developed within the second stage of the development of Shakhdaniz gas condensate field, Trend reports.
At present, an appraisal well drilling is carried out on this sector of the field. At present, the depth of the fourth appraisal well SDX-04 on the gas condensate field Shakdaniz madkes up about 6.560 meters. The project depth of this well is about 7.000 meters. The drilling works are carried out by the rig Istiglal.
The drilling of the well is expected to be completed at the end of this year.
The parties to the Production Sharing Agreement in the project Shakhdaniz are:Р'Р (operator 25.5 per cent), Statoil - 25.5 per cent, SOCAR 10 per cent, LUKAgip 10 per cent, NICO 10 per cent, Total 10 per cent, and TPAO 9 per cent.
