Shikhmammad Aslanov, Chief of the Energy Generation department of Azerenerji JSC has blamed messages spread as if repair works being carried out on the electric power stations of the JSC are linked to problems with interruptions in supplying Baku City and the Absheron Peninsula with electric power, Trend reports referring to a message spared by Azernerji JSC.
Electric power consumers complain about power cuts in the capital and its suburbs every day. I can only guess that such a situation is connected with the reason that Baku Electric Power Distributing Network is not prepared for the winter season, which has its objective reasons and is not linked with short-term stops in the blocks of our electric power stations, said Mr. Aslanov.
A maintenance inspection was conducted in Electric Power Station Shimal of the Baku Heat Power Plant on the night of November 17-18, this year. The inspection was carried out in the night time when the energy system systematically worked on its full capacity. The inspection was organized in a planned order together with a group of foreign specialists from construction companies operating in the country, i.e. all involved organizations and ministers had been aware of the situation beforehand.
