The consumer price index (CPI) in Azerbaijan had grown by 4 percent from January through April 2021, Trend reports referring to the State Statistical Committee.
According to the committee, the CPI for food, beverages and tobacco products rose by 4.7 percent, non-food products - by 3.7 percent, paid services to the population - by 3.1 percent, compared to the same period last year.
In March 2021, the consumer price index increased by 0.3 percent compared to March, and by 4.3 percent compared to April 2020.
