The State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads ended 2020 with a profit, Trend reports citing the agency 2020 financial report.
According to the financial report, the agency's revenues in 2020 compared to 2019 increased by 1.8 percent, exceeding 1.1 billion manat ($647 million).
"In 2020, work was carried out within the framework of maintenance, construction and repair of roads in the amount of about 1.25 billion manat ($735.3 million). The agency's operating profit exceeded 1.105 billion manat ($650 million) (excluding VAT)," the agency said.
Reportedly, 7.45 percent of the agency's expenses accounted for expenses related to the payment of salaries, over 1.7 percent fell on payments to state funds, over three percent - expenses on fuels and lubricants, over 45 percent - on raw materials, 27.72 percent fell on payments to contractors and other expenses.
In 2019, the agency's revenues exceeded 1.08 billion manat ($635.3 million).
