BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 27. The balance of funds raised by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) through the note placement from January through September 2022 amounted to 510 million manat ($300 million), Trend reports via the review of CBA monetary policy.

According to the review, in the reporting period, demand exceeded supply at the note placement auctions.

"The CBA held 42 auctions for the placement of notes from January through September in order to ensure effective liquidity management. On the notes issued for 84 days, the yield at the last auction was 2.92 percent, on notes for 168 days - 3.5 percent, for 252 days - 3.78 percent, and for 28 - the yield was fixed at a level close to the lower limit of the interest rate corridor," the statement said.
