Azerbaijani IT ministry delegation to attend Caspian Telecoms-2009

Istanbul will host the 8th regional conference and Caspian Telecoms-2009 exhibition on telecommunications and information technologies (IT) for Turkey, Caspian and Black Sea region, Central Asia and Russia on Paril 21-22, Iteca Caspian (organizer of exhibitions) said on March 30.

Azerbaijani delegates, including IT Ministry Administration Deputy Head Ilham Mardanov, Aztelekom PU Director General Mahammad Mammadov, IT Ministry International Communication and Calculation Centre Head Jalil Jafarov will make reports at the conference.

Participants of the exhibition comprises providers of information network equipments, operators of cable television and broadcasting companies, producers of digital connection systems and fibro-optic cable, operators of fixed communication, GSM-operators, producers of GSM-equipments, and internet providers.

Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Mongolia, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan will attend Caspian Telecoms-2009.

The conference gathered over 450 participants of 200 companies from 25 countries in 2008. A total of 60 reporters, as well as senior officials of 15 countries made a reports at the conference.
