In 2009 about 137.8mln manat was invested in development of Azerbaijan's ICT sector, the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers' report on results of 2009 says.
The volume of investments in ICT in volume of the total investment in the country amounted to 1.8 percent, the source reported.
During this period the volume of services rendered by the sector increased by 13.1 percent, was 1.0105 billion manat.
Some 77.5 percent of the income received by the sector fells to services provided by non-state enterprises.
In the framework of investment projects realized in the country, the number capacity of common use phone lines increased by 46,880 rooms and reached 1,551,791 rooms in 2009.
Number of main telephone facilities increased by 87,526 units and totaled 1,396,282 units. In 2009, 67.6 units fell to 100 families. The figure was 122 units in Baku and 48 units - in the regions.
