A new business-accelerator is being created in Baku, a source on the Azerbaijani IT market told Trend.
According to the source, in the near future a decision will be made to open a business accelerator at one of Baku's universities.
The discussion of this project with IT entrepreneurs took place in October, and will be discussed again within several weeks.
‘’Officially the decision has not been made yet," said the source.
As Ismail Alakbarov the head of Neuron Technologies, said earlier that this idea was supported by the private business structures in the country, however, it will be necessary to work out an effective model for further work.
The goal of the project is that universities would be enable to cooperate, by providing each other with the means at their disposal for the development of a particular project, be it engineering, lab facilities or mutual financial assistance.
The point of the business accelerator is to make sure ideas get transformed into ready solutions.
