S.Korean company provides university in Tashkent with data management software for free

The South Korean Korea Data Agency (K-Data) has provided the Inha University in Tashkent (IUT) with software for monitoring and analyzing databases worth about $500,000 for free, Uzbek media reported.

The software of Korean companies Wise Intelligence and Exem will be used to prepare specialists in the sphere of data processing.

IUT and K-Data also plan to implement joint research and projects in this sphere, including such areas as open data, data analysis, data management, data quality, and so on.

One of the areas of cooperation will be organization of various conferences, symposiums, seminars and other events for exchange of knowledge, experience and information in the sphere of data processing.

Korea Data Agency is the state agency of the Republic of Korea, which is responsible for developing the data industry, supporting and promoting new business lines using data. The Agency also provides services for incubation of start-up projects.
