The average internet speed in Azerbaijan is 3.1 megabits per second, Trend reports referring to a rating published by the British Broadband Consulting Agency - CABLE.co.uk.
Azerbaijan ranked 141st among 207 countries.
According to the British agency, the average internet access speed is equivalent to downloading HD video content of 5 gigabytes in 3 hours 39 minutes.
In the previous rating, Azerbaijan ranked 135th, which was six steps higher than current indicators.
According to СABLE.co.uk, Taiwan ranked first, where the average download speed is 85.02 megabits per second. The top three in the ranking also include Singapore and Jersey.
