Russia’s Tver Carriage Works (TVZ) has sent the final shipment of car sets of non-couchette passenger wagons to Kazakhstan’s Tulpar-Talgo Passenger Coaches Manufacturing Plant, Trend reports citing TVZ.
The consignment includes sets of 42 non-compartment cars and eight compartment cars. Their final assembly will take place at Tulpar's production facilities. TVZ also shipped 50 car sets to Kazakhstan this summer.
The deliveries are made under an agreement signed in February 2020. The agreement said that TVZ will manufacture and deliver 92 wagon sets of passenger non-compartment wagons and eight compartment wagon sets to Kazakhstan’s Tulpar-Talgo.
The shipped cars are equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable trip: air conditioners, environmentally friendly toilets, WiFi-routers, USB-sockets. Ventilation systems are equipped with modern water and air disinfection units. They purify the air using high-power amalgam germicidal ultraviolet lamps - similar to those used for disinfecting premises in medical institutions.
Tver Carriage Works (TVZ) is the largest enterprise in Russia and CIS countries for the production of various types of passenger coaches hauled by locomotives. Proprietary form: mixed, with the state share in the capital of 42.5 percent.
