Baku will host the international scientific-practical conference "Role of national spatial data infrastructure and a unified cadastre of real estate in modern property management system" on October 6-7, 2011 under the Azerbaijani State Property Committee.
The conference is devoted to the 20th anniversary of Azerbaijan's independence, the State Committee's statement, published in Mulkiyyet newspaper, said.
The representatives of state bodies registering real estate in Europe, CIS and Baltic countries, scholars, experts, practitioners, IT specialists and the representatives of the private sector will attend the event.
The international experience in this field, institutional and legislative aspects will be studied within the two-day conference. The proposal was considered to create a development concept. Such issues as the practical activity of Azerbaijani cadastre and registration agencies, bringing their work into line with NSDI and INSPIRE initiatives, rendering electronic services for cadastre and registration of real estate, real estate assessment issues will be discussed within the conference.
The proposals will be prepared to create a development concept, acceptable to Azerbaijan.
