Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has appointed a new Deputy Chairman of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan, the press service of the Akorda (Kazakh President's residence) said on Tuesday.
"By the decree of the Head of State, Kolkobaev Marat Omerbekovich has been appointed Deputy Chairman of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan," the message said.
No biographical information on the new Deputy Chairman of the National Security Committee was given, but it is known that he had previously headed the Department of National Security Committee in Astana.
