ASTANA, Kazakhstan, October 2. Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) presented the results of trading in securities in the KASE Global sector for September 2023, Trend reports.
During the specified period, 4,585 transactions were concluded in the KASE Global sector with 72,011 shares of 31 companies for a total amount of 1.93 billion tenge (about $4.02 million); 291 transactions with 33,012 exchange-traded funds of nine funds for a total amount of 778.1 million tenge (about $1.62 million).
The largest trading volume for the specified period fell on the following securities:
- US0378331005 (AAPL_KZ) Apple Inc. - 513 transactions for a total amount of 589.4 million tenge (about $1.22 million);
- US4642885135 (HYG_KZ) iShares iBoxx $ High Yield Corporate Bond ETF - 61 transactions for a total amount of 285.8 million tenge (about $595,688);
- US4642872422 (LQD_KZ) iShares iBoxx $ Investment Grade Corporate Bond ETF - 52 transactions for a total amount of 229.2 million tenge (about $478,000).
Among the main categories of investors, brokerage-dealer organizations accounted for 43.2 percent, other legal entities – 14.2 percent, and individuals – 42.6 percent of the total volume of transactions.
