President of Kazakhstan to participate in summit of Turkic states in Antalya
(gazeta.kz) - A summit of the heads of Turkic states in which Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kazakhstan, is going to participate, will take place November 17 in Antalya. Preparations for the summit were discussed Thursday, November 9, between Kassymzhomart Tokayev, Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, and the Ambassador Taner Seben, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan said.
According to the MFA press service, the sides also exchanged their views on further development of co-operation between Kazakhstan and Turkey. Mr. Tokayev stressed the importance of co-operation between the governments for preventing such events as the last Tengiz brawl, reports Trend.
On the same day the Kazakhstani FM received British ambassador Paul Brummel, with whom he discussed a forthcoming visit of the head of state to UK.
