BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 21. The trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan increased from January through November 2022, Trend reports with reference to the State Committee of Uzbekistan on Statistics.
According to statistical data, the trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan in the first 11 months of this year increased by 31.3 percent over the same period in 2021 ($852.9 million) - up to $1.1 billion.
During the reporting period, Kyrgyzstan exported goods to Uzbekistan worth $254 million, which is 79.2 percent more than in the corresponding period of last year ($141.7 million).
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan's exports to Kyrgyzstan from January through November 2022 amounted to $866 million, which is an increase of 21.7 percent over the same period in 2021 ($711.2 million).
Thus, during this period, Kyrgyzstan took 6th place in the Top-10 main trading partners of Uzbekistan, whilst, Russia ranked 1st with a trade turnover of $8.3 billion, followed by China - $8.1 billion and Kazakhstan - $4.1 billion.
