( KABAR ) - Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Ednan Karabaev has met with a delegation of the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) led by its deputy secretary general Toktosun Buzubaev.
The parties discussed issues regarding upcoming presidency of Kyrgyzstan over CSTO, current activities of the Organization as well as perspectives of expanding Kyrgyzstan's cooperation within the framework of CSTO and further development of close and multilateral relations in foreign political, military and military-technical fields.
Issues of cooperation in the field of counteraction to transnational challenges and menaces of security of the member-states of SCTO were touched upon.
