Turkey draws interest to Turkmen market

Turkey, Iran, Russia, Great Britain, US, UAE and Germany are actively exploring the Turkmen market as a priority. The number of products, goods and services produced and rendered by joint ventures and foreign enterprises rapidly increases from year to year, the Turkmen Ministry of Economy and Development said today.
According to the information, if we talk directly about the Turkmen construction market, Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan, Great Britain, Iran, Ukraine and China are all actively operating.
Turkish President Abdullah Gul at a meeting with his Turkmen counterpart Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in Istanbul in mid-August said that the representatives of Turkish big business are ready to expand cooperation with Turkmenistan, including investments.
"Modern Turkmenistan is a dynamically developing country where broad-scale programmes are being made and large projects implemented in all areas, supported by Turkey," the Turkish leader said.
Turkish companies implement more than 1270 investment projects in Turkmenistan. They include more than 1200 projects worth more than $15 billion and 26 projects worth over two billion euros and 26 projects worth over 56 billion manat and other projects.
